Hukerenui School will be holding the cross country competition this year on Wednesday 21st August(Postponement day will be Thursday 22nd August).  We will travel to Hukerenui School by bus, leaving at 9.00am. If you are taking your own child please contact the office.

Time:

• 10.00 am  Morning tea
• 10.20 am  Warning bell (Last minute toilet stop)
• 10.25 am   All children lined up on the turf courts in their age groups.

• 10.30 am  Start of first race

Important information

• Children will be running in age groups sorted by what they were on 1^st of January 2019. (Please write this age of each child on their hand with vivid)
• All 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd places in Y4 to Y8 can compete in Whangarei at Barge Park on Wednesday 28th August.
• There will be food and drinks for sale on the day.  Please bring along any shade/tarpaulins/fold out chairs, etc. if you need them for your students/parents.
•  We would appreciate 2 people/parents from each school to help with the marshalling. They can announce themselves to staff wearing high viz jackets upon arrival.
