The Kakapo is an endemic New Zealand bird.
The Kakapo have a green body. They have blue eyes, a pale blue beak and long whiskers. They have wings but cannot fly. They can grow quite big. The kakapo have black patches on them but mostly their feathers are green.
The Kakapo are herbivores. They eat seeds, nuts, berries, and flowers and rimu tree fruit and other stuff.
Kakapo breed in summer and autumn but only in years of good food on NZ Islands. That is why the Kakapo is an endangered NZ bird.
The Kakapo live in tussock lands, scrublands, forests and coastal areas.
The Kakapo are cool birds so keep them safe. I like kakapo
