The Kiwi is a native bird to NZ.
They have chicken legs and a long beak. Some are big and some are small and they are non-flying birds.
They live in the bush and forest.
They eat worms and other things like seeds and berries.
The female lays a big egg.
I think kiwi are the perfect bird for NZ.
